Methodology for MBA Programs:
The Selectivity Index® is calculated based on data found in the 2023 US News rankings released in March 2022 using the average GMAT score, average undergraduate GPA, and acceptance rate for each school’s full-time program entrants.
The Selectivity Index for each school is calculated as follows:
1. First, calculate the Selectivity Score which equals: (GMAT Score) x (GPA) x (1 – Acceptance rate)
2. The Selectivity Index = 100 x Selectivity Score / (the highest Selectivity Score)
