MEET THE PRESENTER

Before joining Accepted in 2012, Alicia McNease Nimonkar worked for five years as Coordinator, Program Manager, and ultimately Acting Director at UC Davis’ postbac program where she both evaluated applications and advised students on how to successfully apply to medical school and related programs. 

She has worked extensively with medical school faculty and learning skills specialists to empower students to reach their academic goals. She knows what is important to medical school selection committees, and what isn’t, when they evaluate an application. 

Alicia holds a Master's degree in Composition and Rhetoric that further helps her assist applicants in developing strong writing and interviewing skills.
